What you need to know before you book

To advertise on community notice boards, you will need to book ahead of time.

Each location is available for up to four weeks at a time. We may extend your time if demand is low.

You can book up to four notices at any one time.

You should know

Advertising must relate to a local-based event. We do not accept commercial advertising.
We have the right to refuse notices if they are considered inappropriate.

Notice specifications

The notice should be:

  • in landscape format
  • professionally written
  • the size specified according to the location, and
  • attached to a tanalised construction plywood (1200 x 1200 x 12.5mm) or corflute.

Our tip

The advantage of corflute is that it can be used several times.
Use only small screws, nails and staples when attaching your sign.
We recommend you use large lettering and as few words as possible.

Putting up and removing your notice

It is your responsibility to put your notice up, and then remove your notice at the end of your advertising period on the dates agreed at the time of booking.
