The outcomes sought by this grants programme support the vision for the sector set out in the Auckland Plan.

What the Regional Community Development Grant Programme supports

The programme supports the implementation of the following plan and guide:

Eligibility for Regional Community Development Grant

Grants are not available for:

  • local projects
  • operational or running costs of community organisations, apart from the costs that are associated with your project (e.g. the staff costs of organising a training programme or workshop)
  • grants are not available to individuals.

How grants are allocated

Grants awarded through the regional community development fund are limited to 'one-off' project grants for standalone initiatives.
