Proposal to grant a community licence to occupy and manage for Maraetai Community Hall

Auckland Council invites submissions or objections from persons with an interest in the Maraetai Community Hall, 12 Rewa Road, Maraetai.

Under the Local Government Act 2002, Auckland Council proposes issuing a new community licence to occupy and manage in respect of Lot 123 DP 19097 contained in Computer Freehold Register NA449/179. The licence is to the Maraetai Beach Community Hall Incorporated Society for the purpose of managing the Maraetai Community Hall. The licence is for a period of three years from the date of final approval.

Any person wishing to make a submission on the proposal is required to lodge this in writing to Jane Cain, Auckland Council, Private Bag 92 300, Auckland 1142, or by email to jane.cain@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz , no later than the close of business on 17 August 2018. Please state in your submission if you wish to be heard in person.

Any information provided to the Council will become subject to the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1977 and may be released by the Council under that Act. Any submitter should state in their submission if the whole or any part of the objection is to be kept confidential.
