Proposal to grant a community lease over part of Stredwick Reserve

​Auckland Council invites submissions from persons with an interest in Stredwick Reserve, 70A Stredwick Drive, Torbay, in the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board area.

Council proposes to grant a community lease to Titoki Montessori School Incorporated. The proposed lease term is for five (5) years with one right of renewal for a further term of five (5) years. The school's previous lease has reached final expiry and they have applied for a new lease to continue their activities.

The property is held in fee simple by Auckland Council and comprises of two parts, a 1184 square metre parcel classified as local purpose (community building) reserve and the remainder classified as recreation reserve, both subject to the Reserves Act 1977. The proposed lease area consists predominantly of land classified as local purpose reserve. Only a small portion of the leased area extends into the adjoining recreation reserve.
