Proposal to grant community lease for scout hall at Kimpton Park

Auckland Council invites submissions or objections from persons with an interest in the following Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board area.

Kimpton Park, 108 Kimpton Road, Papatoetoe

Council proposes to grant a community lease to The Scout Association of New Zealand (Papatoetoe East) for the scout hall at Kimpton Park, 108 Kimpton Road, Papatoetoe, for the purpose of scouting activities and associated use. The lease is for a term of 10 years with one 10 year right-of-renewal.

The proposal is made under the Reserves Act 1977 in respect Lot 55 Deposited Plan 46107 being 1.0770 square meters - Part NA1126/232 (Cancelled); held in fee simple by the Auckland Council as an unclassified recreation reserve. 

The area for lease is approximately 254m2 and comprises of a scout hall with partial basement.

Any person wishing to make a submission in respect of the above proposals is required to lodge this in writing to Jenny Young, Community Lease Advisor, Auckland Council, Private Bag 92300, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142 no later than 5.00pm 9 November 2018.  Alternatively, submissions may be emailed to jenny.young@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz
