Community space available for lease at 313 Queen Street, Auckland CBD- restricted to performing art groups

Auckland Council invites expression of interest applications from performing art groups interested in leasing the space at 313 Queen Street, Auckland CBD.

The space has recently been renovated and is now available for use by suitably qualifying groups. The available space is an area of approximately 180m². It provides a large open room and has toilets, a kitchen and ventilation. It can be accessed from a staircase from the carpark at the rear of the of the building

To be eligible to apply your organisation must be:

  • An incorporated society or registered charitable trust and fit the criteria in the Auckland Council Community Occupancy Guidelines 2012.
  • Applicants must be able to specify how the services or programmes offered will align with the objectives of the Waitemata Local Board Plans.
  • The expectation is that groups will make maximum utilisation of the space.

The space will be open for viewing on 3 December 2018 from 10am-12pm, and 3pm-5pm. Other times may be arranged by appointments. (please call number below to view).

Auckland Council reserves the right to seek proposals and applications from other parties in addition to those who respond to this invitation.
