Auckland Council invites expressions of interest from community groups, to lease the community room behind local board offices 81 Hector Sanderson Rd Claris Great Barrier Island
The space is one room approximately 5 meters by 5 meters(25m2) in area; and is carpeted with good natural light. The room is at the back of the local board office building and the site is shared with the fire and emergency station, and the generator shed for the buildings, service centre and adjacent medical centre.
Groups or individuals applying shall;
- If possible share the space with others and illustrate in their application the groups they intend to partner with. The expectation is that the room will be used at least 20 hours per week.
- Be an incorporated society or a charitable trust and fit with Councils current Community Occupancy Guidelines.
- Be able to identify positive community outcomes that will occur as a result of their tenancy.
Auckland Council reserves the right to seek proposals and applications from other parties in addition to those who respond to this invitation, and to accept or reject any applications.
Inspection of the room can be arranged with the Great Barrier Island Service Centre 75 Hector Sanderson Road between 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
