Proposal to grant community lease for 90R Wellington Street, Howick Domain Reserve, Howick

Auckland Council invites submissions or objections from persons with an interest in the following Howick Local Board area.

90R Wellington Street, Howick Domain Reserve, Howick

Council proposes to grant a community lease to the Howick Brass Incorporated for one unit and storage room in the Howick Domain Building sited at Howick Domain Reserve, 90R Wellington Street, Howick, for the purpose of providing a brass band and other ancillary purposes. The lease is for a term of 5 years with one 5 year right-of-renewal.

The proposal is made under the Reserves Act 1977 in respect Allotment 143 and 144 Village of Howick. Held by the Crown through the Department of Conservation as a classified recreation reserve and vested in Auckland Council, in trust, for recreational purposes. The area for lease is approximately 105m2 for the unit and 60 m2 for the storage room.
