Proposal to grant community leases at William Green Domain and Star of the Sea Reserve

William Green Domain, 600 Pakuranga Road, Pakuranga
Pursuant to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977, Auckland Council intends to grant a community lease to The Order of St John Northern Region Trust Board situated at William Green Domain, 600 Pakuranga Road, Highland Park, Auckland.
The land is held by the Crown through the Department of Conservation under the Reserves Act 1977 and vested in Auckland Council as a classified recreation reserve. The leased space is situated on land legally described as Section 1 SO 353358 and covers approximately 770m2.
The proposed term is for ten years with one right of renewal for a further term of ten years. The space will be used for providing an ambulance service to the local community.
Star of the Sea Reserve, 29R Granger Road, Howick
Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Act 2002, Auckland Council intends to grant a community lease to the Howick Children’s and Youth Theatre Incorporated situated at 29R Granger Road, Star of the Sea Reserve, Howick.
The land is held in fee simple by Auckland Council under the Local Government Act 2002 and legally described as Lot 3 DP 188910. The lease area comprises approximately 647m2 and is shared with other community groups.
The proposed term is for five years with one right of renewal for a further term of five years. The space will be used to promote and encourage theatre and associated activities to children and young people.
Any person wishing to make a submission in respect of the above proposal is to lodge this in writing
no later than 5pm on 28 November 2019.
