18 The Avenue, Lynfield is described as located on Part DP 1467 and Part DP 2251, 7.4690 ha – NA14C/1115 (Part-Cancelled) and held in fee simple by the Auckland Council under the Local Government Act 2002.
Council proposes to grant a new community lease for 3,880m² (more or less) to Lynfield Tennis Club Incorporated to undertake repairs to the tennis club and to continue to provide recreational and community services to the community.
The proposed term of the community lease is ten years commencing 18 July 2019 with one ten-year right of renewal.
Lynfield Tennis Club Incorporated is affiliated to Tennis Auckland and has been incorporated under the Incorporated Societies Act 1908 since 1 October 1975. Its objectives are to promote, encourage and advance the game of tennis and provide, control and maintain suitable grounds and premises for this purpose.

Any person wishing to make a submission in respect of the above proposal is required to lodge this in writing to Michelle Knudsen, Community Lease Specialist, Auckland Council, Private Bag 92300, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142 no later than 5pm Friday 30 August 2019. Please state in your objection if you wish to be heard in person.
Any information provided to the council will become subject to the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 and may be released by the Council under that Act, unless a withholding ground under that Act applies.
Submitters details may be provided to elected members for decision making purposes and may be included in meeting agendas that will be published on the council's website.
