Proposal to grant a new lease Freemans Bay Community Centre

The Waitemata Local Board is considering granting a new lease to Rape Crisis (Auckland) Incorporated of three rooms at the Freemans Bay Community Centre 52 Hepburn Street Freeman's Bay. The proposal is to grant a lease for a term of five (5) years with a five (5) year right of renewal.

52 Hepburn Street is owned by Council under the provisions of the Local Government Act 2002 and is legally described as Lot 2 DP 85433 in certificate of title NA41C/747.

Rape Crisis (Auckland) Incorporated provides education programmes to young people and their families on the prevention of sexual violence. The intended use of the rooms is as office space and co-ordination centre for their staff and programmes.
