Auckland Council invites applications from community groups and organisations interested in leasing space at the Epsom Community Centre, 200 Gillies Avenue, Epsom.
The lease to the current occupant has expired and council's community occupancy guidelines provide for advertising the availability of the space within the building. The available space is known as the Kimberley Room and comprises a room suitable as a meeting room/office and an adjacent storage area with an area of approximately 20.25m².
The space is located adjacent to and in the same building as a kindergarten, so applicants must be willing to share the common area toilets with the other building occupants. The current occupant group has indicated that they wish to continue occupying this space and will be applying as part of this process.
To be eligible to apply your organisation must be:
- An incorporated society or registered charitable trust and fit the criteria in the Auckland Council Community Occupancy Guidelines 2012.
- Applicants must be able to specify how the services or programmes offered will align with the objectives of the Albert Eden Local Board Plans.
- The expectation is that groups will each use their space in the building for at least 20 or more hours per week
The Kimberley Room will be open for viewing on Thursday 29 March 2018 between
