Proposal to grant a new commercial licence at Stone Road Forest and Recreation Reserve, Stone Road, Bombay.

Auckland Council invites submissions or objections from those with an interest in Stone Road Forest and Recreation Reserve. The land is held by the Crown through the Department of Conservation as a classified recreation reserve and vested in Auckland Council in trust for that purpose.

Under Section 54(1)(d) of the Reserves Act 1977 Panuku Development Auckland for Auckland Council proposes to issue a new commercial licence for a portion of Allotment 235 Parish of Opāheke to Adrenaline Forest Limited.

The proposed licence is for a term of five years with two rights of renewal of three years each. The licence is to allow the establishment of a high ropes adventure course in the trees on part of the reserve with the use of the land shared with the existing user, Franklin County Archers Incorporated.

Any person wishing to make a submission on the proposal is required to lodge this in writing with Matthew Jones, Commercial Property Manager, Panuku Development Auckland, P O Box 90 343, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142, or by email to, by 5.00pm on Wednesday 19 December 2018. Please state in your submission if you wish to be heard in person.

Any information provided to the council will become subject to the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1977 and may be released by council under that Act. Any submitter should state in their submission if the whole or any part of the objection is to be kept confidential.
