Auckland Council invites submissions or objections from those with an interest in Stone Road Forest and Recreation Reserve. The land is held by the Crown through the Department of Conservation as a classified recreation reserve and vested in Auckland Council in trust for that purpose.
Under Section 54(1) of the Reserves Act 1977 Auckland Council proposes to issue a new community lease for Allotment 235 Parish of Opāheke comprising 8.0937 hectares, to the Franklin County Archers Incorporated.
The proposed lease is for a term of 10 years with a right of renewal of 10 years. The lease is to allow the continuation of a field archery course and associated use on the reserve by the group and sharing a portion of the land with Adrenaline Forest Limited.
Any person wishing to make a submission on the proposal is required to lodge this in writing with Christine Benson, Community Lease Advisor, Auckland Council, Private Bag 92 300, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142, or by email to
