Waikaraka Park Reserve Management Plan public notice

Public notice date: 19 June 2019

Closing date and time: 21 July 2019, 12 a.m.

​Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board is proposing to prepare a reserve management plan for the Waikaraka Park precinct. This is inclusive of the speedway, sportsfields, cemetery and extension.

The Manukau Foreshore Walkway/Cycleway is excluded from the scope of the management plan.

In accordance with section 41 of the Reserves Act 1977 the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board give notice of its intention to prepare a reserve management plan.

Visit the Waikaraka Park Reserve Management Plan page for a map of the area to be covered by the reserve management plan.

The local board invite the public to submit written suggestions on matters to consider in the plan.

Information collected through this process will be fully considered when preparing the draft Waikaraka Park Reserve Management Plan, which is intended to be released for public submissions at the end of 2019 or the start of 2020.
