About Green Bay parks planning

Green Bay has a number of significant and well-utilised parks for the area - such as Crum Park - as well as smaller open spaces that are enjoyed by the local community, such as Barron and Godley Green.

The Whau Local Board and Park Services Team would like your feedback on what you consider important for the future development of five of these parks in the heart of Green Bay.

These parks are:

  • Crum Park
  • Godley Green
  • Barron Green
  • Green Bay Community Corner
  • Green Bay Domain.

Park proposals

Building from early engagement with the local community at the Green Bay Street Food event, we have developed concept plans for these parks to provide a guide on how they could be improved over the short, medium and long term.

The draft concept plans for each park include a range of improvements to enhance the environmental, recreation and community features.

This includes proposals for:

  • additional recreation features
  • safety improvements
  • upgraded play spaces
  • improved connections and footpaths
  • new amenities (including seats and drinking fountains)
  • community orchards
  • significant restoration planting.

When you can have your say

You can have your say from Monday 18 June until Friday 29 June.
