We're reviewing the Property Maintenance and Nuisance Bylaw 2015 and we'd like your input.
The bylaw protects Aucklanders from being harmed or annoyed by neighbours who don't maintain their property.
The activities the bylaw controls include:
- letting vegetation, such as lawns and bushes, become overgrown
- dumping or storing anything that could cause a nuisance, like rubbish or old cars
- feeding birds or animals in a way that causes a nuisance
- abandoned or derelict buildings.
What we need your feedback on
We would like to hear about your opinions and experiences with these issues.
