About the Structure Planning Update for Drury-Opāheke and Pukekohe-Paerata

The Auckland Unitary Plan has marked out some areas around Opāheke, Drury, Pukekohe and Paerata for future urban development. There will be significant urban growth in these areas in the next 10 to 20 years.

We asked for your views in 2017 on how you think the area should be urbanised.

We incorporated your feedback into the plans, and we'd like to update you on the progress we've made, and give you a chance to have your say again.

Supporting Growth Alliance - developing transport options

The Supporting Growth Alliance (which includes Auckland Transport and the New Zealand Transport Authority) are considering transport options to support the proposed land use changes.

Staff from the Supporting Growth Alliance will be at all the events and drop in sessions to discuss these options.

When you can have your say

You can have your say from 10 September to 10 October 2018.

We will then analyse your feedback, which will be used to inform the final structure plans.

This consultation closed to feedback on 10 October 2018. Thank you for having your say.

We will consider the feedback and continue working toward the draft structure plans for Drury-Opāheke and Pukekohe-Paerata.

We hope to have these ready in early 2019.
