The Auckland Unitary Plan has set aside land around Drury-Opāheke and Pukekohe-Paerata for future development.
There will be significant urban growth in these areas over the next 20 years.
The current structure planning consultation
Now we're giving you another chance to tell us how you think we can best develop the future urban areas of Drury-Opāheke and Pukekohe-Paerata.
We invite you to have your say on any aspect of the plans.
You can read the current documentation on the Structure planning process update for Drury-Opāheke and Pukekohe-Paerata - consultation documents page.
Previous structure planning consultations
We first asked how you thought the area should be urbanised in 2017.
You can read the previous background reports and feedback summary from the 2017 consultation on the Help Shape the Future of Drury and Pukekohe-Paerata page.
In September 2018, we updated you and asked for feedback again.
You can view the results from this feedback on the 2018 Structure planning update for Drury-Opāheke and Pukekohe-Paerata documents page.
When you can have your say
You can have your say from 5 April to 30 April 2019.
We will then analyse your feedback and use it to create the final plans.
Supporting Growth Alliance
The Supporting Growth Alliance (which includes Auckland Transport and the New Zealand Transport Authority) has developed an Integrated Transport Assessment which looks at the scale and key components of a draft future transport network.
This assessment is based on a draft strategic transport network being developed as part of a supporting growth programme.
Staff from the Supporting Growth Alliance will be attending our 2019 drop-in sessions to chat to you further about these options.
