Some tracks in this reserve are closed to prevent the spread of kauri dieback.
Find open and closed tracks and read about protecting our kauri.
This reserve is one of the largest reserve areas on the North Shore. It is mostly covered in a mixture of native and exotic trees, and shrubs.
There are a number of tracks through the reserve. A primary track links to other reserves to the north-west.
The outer loop track doesn't have steps and is suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. We recommend wheelchair users have assistance as there are some sections with a slight gradient.
Find out which tracks are open and closed before you go.
Pedestrian access is from Eskdale, Glenfield and Domain roads. You will need to park on the road.
The reserve adjoins the Glenfield Cemetery.
