Matheson Bay Reserve has a beach, and plenty of open space for picnics and recreation. The playground is close to the sand and water.
The Matheson Bay bush walk is a popular walking track on the western side of the Kohuroa stream.
Access the car park from Grand View Road.
A playground, toilets, car park, seating and picnic tables are inside the park.

Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
