Roy Clements Treeway is a tree-lined, raised boardwalk along Waititiko/Meola Creek. It connects Alberton Avenue to Kerr-Taylor Reserve.
It is named after Roy Clements, a former teacher at Mount Albert Grammar School and a keen environmentalist. In the late 1970s, Roy and a group of students started clearing the banks of invasive weeds and replanting them with native trees.
The original concrete path along the creek has been replaced with a timber boardwalk that is better for growing trees and walking on. The treeway is now maintained by volunteers from the St Lukes Environmental Protection Society (STEPS).
The boardwalk runs along the edge of the creek and is mostly flat. The concrete path through Kerr-Taylor Reserve is flat and accessible.
