About Ōpaheke Park

This large park has something for everyone. It has two kilometres of paths around the perimeter for walking, running and cycling. Check out the wetlands, pump track, nature play areas and the sports fields.

There is also plenty of space for a variety of recreational activities and nature play areas. Pack a picnic and make use of the picnic tables and seating, or see if you can spot any wildlife around the wetlands!

Access the large car park from Opaheke Road. Gates open 7am to 9pm in summer and 7am to 7pm in winter.

A large toilet block with accessible toilets is between the car park and sports fields.
