About Kopupaka Reserve

Kopupaka Reserve – Main entrance.

Open reserve area with plenty of open space to have a picnic and for the kids to run around. There is a pond near the playground so keep an eye on young children.

The well-equipped playground offers a wide range of play opportunities. Toilets, fitness equipment, barbecues, picnic tables and seating are also inside the reserve.

Access from Maki Street and Kokano Road.

You need to know

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

Playgrounds at Kopupaka Reserve

Kopupaka Reserve – Playground overview.

This space offers an exciting range of play opportunities for all ages, including a flying fox, water play, sand play, nature play, inground trampolines and a range of spinners and swings.

Bespoke climbing towers reflect the local strawberry farming history, with the rubber mounds representing strawberry furrows.

Alongside the main play space is a fitness area, picnic area, BBQ and public toilet.
