Kūkūwai Park
Also known as Hendon Avenue Reserve

6 Barrymore Road, Mount Albert

About Kūkūwai Park

This small park space is part of a linear open space arrangement along Te Auaunga (Oakley Creek).

The park is flat with plenty of open space to kick a ball around and enjoy informal games. It is also the perfect place to start a bike ride or walk to explore the network of parks and open space in either direction.

Cross the impressive Te Whitinga Bridge over SH20 to Valonia Reserve to enjoy the amenities or continue east to the mara hupara (traditional play space) at Underwood Park.

If you're adventurous, follow the path all the way to Waterview Reserve.

Access the park and car park from Barrymore Road.
