Access the park from Mascot Avenue.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

Playgrounds at David Lange Park

David Lange Park - Brightly coloured high play module with slides, climbing equipment, viewing platforms and more.

This brightly coloured large playground is divided into separate areas for the different age groups.

The junior area is partially fenced and has lots to keep small children busy. They can check out the interactive music and play boards, sensory play equipment, learn to balance on low stumps and rocks, climb up the play module and much more.

For the more adventurous kids there is a high multi-level play module with slides, climbing equipment and swings.

A basketball court, skate park, in-ground trampolines and toilets are nearby.

A lot of thought and effort went into developing this playground to ensure it reflects Māngere.

Basketball

There are shared basketball and netball courts by the car park and another full court by the traffic lights leading to Mangere Town Centre.

Volleyball

There is a court by the fitness equipment at the park.

Fitness stations

Fitness equipment including a shoulder grinder, overhead press, lateral pull down and stationary bike are along the path between the playground and the basketball courts.
