​Where you can play disc golf

Bethells Beach

There are multiple courses that lead down to Bethells Beach across part of the picturesque and rugged Waitākere Ranges.

With challenging courses that wind through farm paddocks surrounded by native bush, this is perfect for golfers with intermediate to advanced skills. There is a nine-hole course around the Pae o te Rangi Campground and two 18-hole courses that start from the eastern end of the course.

Disc golf course maps

Henderson

The Henderson Park course is a short nine-hole basketed course that is perfect for golfers of all skill levels.

Monte Cecilia Park

This is an object course at the popular Monte Cecilia Park where you can make up your own course as you go along.

There are 18 holes available to try out, but baskets are only set up once a year for the Auckland championships.

Onetangi Sports Park (Rangihoua)

This 18-hole basketed course consists of an old and new course and is more suitable for advanced golfers.

There are no tees available, so bring a map or an experienced golfer for your first visit.

Maungakiekie / One Tree Hill Domain

One Tree Hill features multiple unmarked object courses for more skilled golfers. It is recommended to contact a local to be shown around the domain.

Waitawa

The Waitawa Disc Golf Course is an 18-hole course with club and advanced tees and a couple of championship hole options for tournaments.

For beginners, there is a loop with baskets in a less demanding area. Allow two or more hours for a full round and one hour for the Beginners' Loop.

Woodhill Forest

The Woodhill Forest course is an 18-hole course that is suitable for players of all skill levels.

Entrance to the course is free and disc hires are available.
