Check if a sports field is open or closed

Check the status of a sports field to find out if it is open or closed. Fields may be closed because of:

• bad weather
• maintenance
• local events.

When we update the status of a sports field

Monday to Friday status

We update this daily by 1pm.

Saturday and Sunday status

We update this on Fridays for the weekend ahead.

For weekend closures and play restrictions, teams and players should contact their club for updates from the different regional sports organisations. These organisations will:

• reallocate fields based on availability and notify clubs of any changes
• cancel competitions if necessary.
