Fitzroy House at Glenfern Sanctuary Regional Parkland

Fitzroy House is one of the oldest homesteads remaining on Great Barrier Island, and sits with the Glenfern Sanctuary Regional Park. Built in 1901, the house features the beautiful decorative detailing by craftsman builders from long ago.

The self-contained five bedroom house can accommodate up to 10 people. It is perfect for families and groups - you can arrange the beds to suit your needs.

There is a large barbecue and a bluetooth stereo. You will also find a good selection of books and games.

For cool winter nights, there is a wood burner and Stanley stove to keep you warm and cosy.

For costs, availability and bookings, visit www.glenfern.org.nz.

Note: all income from Fitzroy House and Glenfern Cottage goes towards the management of Glenfern Sanctuary, helping to protect our precious and endangered native species.
