Health and Hygiene Bylaw

The Health and Hygiene Bylaw 2013 is currently being reviewed.

The Health and Hygiene Bylaw 2013 regulates commercial services that:

  • pierce the skin (e.g. tattooing, piercing)
  • risk breaking the skin (e.g. manicure/pedicure, hair removal)
  • risk burning the skin (e.g. sun-beds, laser, pulsed light) or
  • certain services that risk transferring infection (e.g. swimming pools and colon hydrotherapy).
