Section 8 of the Point England Development Enabling Act 2017.
Amendment to the zoning of Section 1 Survey Office Plan 503726.
Under the Point England Development Enabling Act 2017, the Point England Reserve has been subdivided into
- development land (Section 1 Survey Office Plan 503726) and the remaining as
- reserve land.
The reservation of the development land as a recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977 has been revoked. The fee simple estate in the development land vests in the Crown.
The development land is set apart for State housing purposes (as defined in section 2(1) of the Housing Act 1955). It becomes State housing land under that Act.
The Auckland combined plan (or Unitary Plan) is deemed to be amended to change the zoning of the development land to Residential – Mixed Housing Urban.
