Rates Remission and Postponement Policy
Our Rates Remission and Postponement Policy addresses financial assistance and support for ratepayers, as well as anomalies and other schemes.
Policy objectives
The objectives of the Rates Remission and Postponement Policy are:
- to provide ratepayers with some financial or other assistance, where they might otherwise have difficulty meeting their obligations
- to address circumstances where the rating system results in anomalies in the incidence of rates
- to support the achievement of our broader policy objectives.
