Details of the proposed activity

To remove the current embankment that carries the existing Eastern Interceptor. We will replace it with a new pipe and pipe bridge in the coastal marine area to open up the waterway capacity and allow increased flood flow.

Diversion chambers are required at either end of the new pipe.
