Description

The Waiuku Community Recycling Centre is run by Waiuku Zero Waste Ltd. Their aim to reduce waste to landfill as much as possible.

There is no charge for household items that are clean and saleable.

Not accepted items:

hazardous or odorous waste
veterinary or medical waste
liquid waste
asbestos
car bodies
Recycling numbers 5–7 are now not accepted in the recycling.

Opening hours

Thursday to Sunday: 8.30am - 4pm
Monday to Wednesday: Closed
Closed on New Year's Day, Day after New Year's Day, Auckland Anniversary Day, Waitangi Day, Easter Monday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, ANZAC Day, King's Birthday, Matariki, Labour Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day.
