Looking after stray or mistreated cats
A cat that appears to be stray may in fact be one that is missing or stolen from its home. Cats wander long distances, particularly if frightened by something or confused by injury or illness.

If a cat has been hanging around your property and you suspect it is a stray, contact organisations that can help in reuniting cats with their owners:
Mistreatment of cats
If you have a concern about the mistreatment or welfare of cats, contact the
SPCA.
