Intention to grant a new commercial licence at 1R Newbury Street, Ōtara

​The land is held by Auckland Council in fee simple subject to the Reserves Act 1977 as a classified local purpose (car parking and market) reserve.

The licenced area is located on the North end of the car park.

If granted, the proposed commercial licence is for a term of five years.

Any information provided to Auckland Council is subject to the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 and may be released by Auckland Council under that Act. Any submitter should state in their submission if the whole or any part of the objection is to be kept confidential.

Any person wishing to comment or make an objection or submission in respect of the above proposal is to lodge this in writing by the close of business on Wednesday 9 July 2025.
