This is a flat gravel path accessible from several surrounding streets.
It can get a bit wet after rain, so expect your shoes to get muddy.
The path runs around New Zealand's biggest urban wetland restoration project.
Wander over wide open spaces, view the wetlands or let your dogs run free in the off-leash areas in Waiatarua Reserve.
There are also several bird viewing areas off the main path.
Finish or start the path at the playground area with skate ramp or shoot some hoops at the basketball court.
The path is suitable for more robust buggies.
