​What a Spatial Land Use Strategy does

A Spatial Land Use Strategy identifies future centres and business land that the transport network will support and impact.

It is not a detailed structure plan and is only intended to be an outline of land uses in the Future Urban zone (PDF 1MB) .

Strategies will inform the Supporting Growth Alliance’s detailed business cases for key transport infrastructure projects and their route protections. It will also be a starting point that future structure plans may build on.
