Delivering transport networks to support future urban growth

The Transport for Future Urban Growth programme has now reached a major milestone.

The Boards of Auckland Transport and the NZ Transport Agency have approved the overarching 30-year plan for supporting Auckland’s future urban growth areas in the north, north-west and south of the city.

Local consultations

Tāmaki Path Greenway Design

Auckland Council is planning to create a shared walk and cycle pathway or ‘greenway’ network that will provide a continuous connection through the open space reserves along the Tamaki Estuary from Wai‐o‐Taki Nature Reserve to Panmure Wharf.
