Draft Local Alcohol Policy

Submissions closed on our draft Local Alcohol Policy at 4pm 16 July 2014.  The policy is designed to promote safe, healthy and strong communities.

 

Proposed amendments to Local Boards Funding Policy

We are proposing to amend the council’s Local Boards Funding Policy to more fairly fund local services provided by the region’s 21 local boards.

Draft Heritage Incentives Policy Project

The Heritage Incentives Policy is being developed to support and encourage active engagement in the protection and enhancement of Auckland's natural and historic heirtage.

Consultation is open from 21 July to 20 August 2014.

 

Draft Community Grants Policy  

Work is currently underway on developing a new draft Community Grants Policy that will guide the allocation of funding to organisations delivering projects, activities and services of benefit to Aucklanders.

Policy for Auckland's commercial sex industry

We are developing a consistent, region-wide approach for managing Auckland's commercial sex industry.

Trading in public places policy

Auckland Council and Auckland Transport are developing a region-wide policy on the management of trading activities in public places. Consultation will take place in mid-2014.

Dog control policies and bylaws

The policy and bylaw on dogs came into effect from 1 July 2013.

Earthquake-prone, dangerous and insanitary buildings policy (2011-2016)

This policy aims to reduce the level of risk to people from earthquake-prone buildings in the region.

This policy provides the framework for acquiring land for parks and open spaces.

We have developed a new procurement strategy and policy to align with the driving principles of the Auckland Plan.
