Intention to grant a new commercial licence at 121R Bader Drive, Mangere

Auckland Council notifies its intention to grant a new commercial licence over part of 121R Bader Drive, Mangere for the purpose of operating a market.

The land is legally described as Lot 2 DP 77892, contained in certificate of title NA34/1109 and contains 4.6248 hectares. It is held by Auckland Council in fee simple subject to the Reserves Act 1977 as a classified local purpose (off-street parking and community buildings) reserve, classified by New Zealand Gazette 1982 p 3119.

The licenced area is located on the car park at the south end of the Mangere Town Square.

If granted, the proposed commercial licence is for a term of five years.

Any information provided to Auckland Council is subject to the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 and may be released by Auckland Council under that Act. Any submitter should state in their submission if the whole or any part of the objection is to be kept confidential.

Any person wishing to comment or make an objection or submission in respect of the above proposal is to lodge this in writing by the close of business on Friday 20 June 2025.
