Proposed new community lease at Te Puru Park, Maraetai to Te Puru Community Charitable Trust

​Under the Local Government Act 2002, Franklin Local Board proposes to grant a new community lease to Te Puru Community Charitable Trust for part of the land at Te Puru Park, 954 Whitford Maraetai Road, Maraetai, legally described as Lot 1 Deposited Plan 190769. The land is held in fee simple by Auckland Council.

The trust aims to continue supporting affiliated clubs and community groups that undertake recreational, cultural, and other community activities, in and for, the Beachlands-Maraetai and wider communities.

It is proposed to grant a community ground lease for the building for an initial term of ten years with a single renewal term of ten years.

Auckland Council invites submissions or objections from anyone with an interest in this proposal.
