Proposal to establish a community garden on part of 50 Howard Rd, Orere Point

​Under the Local Government Act 2002, Franklin Local Board proposes to grant a new community licence to occupy to Orere Community and Boating Club Inc. for part of the land at 50 Howard Rd, Orere Point, legally described as Lot 50 Deposited Plan 36710. The land is held in fee simple by Auckland Council.

The club wishes to develop a 175 sqm community garden on the northern boundary of the land, adjacent to the Orere Rural Library.

It is proposed to grant a community licence to occupy for an initial term of 5 years with a single renewal term of 5 years.

Auckland Council invites submissions or objections from anyone with an interest in this proposal.
