Proposal to grant new community lease at 56A Covil Avenue, Te Atatu South

​The Henderson-Massey Local Board proposes to grant a lease to Waitematā Bridge Club Incorporated for their tenant-owned building at 56A Covil Avenue, Te Atatu South.

The land is legally described as Part of Section 2 SO Plan 333730, held in fee simple by Auckland Council as a classified recreation reserve subject to the Reserves Act 1977.

The proposed lease is for a term of ten years plus a ten-year right of renewal.

Any person wishing to comment or make a submission in respect of the above proposal is to lodge this in writing with Xavier Shaji, Community Lease Specialist, Level 21, Auckland Council, Private Bag 92300, Victoria Street West, Auckland 1142 by close of business on Wednesday 10 September 2025.
