There are ways you can lower your dog registration fee.

Fees

If you are registering your dog with us for the first time, the registration fee will be calculated based on the number of months remaining in the registration year.

If your pet is classed as dangerous, then you will pay 150 per cent of the applicable fee. For more information, see Menacing and dangerous dogs.

How to receive a discount in the current registration year

 To qualify for a discount, submit your documentation before making your registration payment on myAUCKLAND.

If you submit your documentation on or after the date of online payment, the discount will be applied to the following registration year.
