What the Audit and Risk Committee does
This committee advises the Governing Body on governance, risk management and internal control.
It reviews how well Auckland Council manages:
- enterprise risk management (ERM) across the Auckland Council group
- internal and external audit and assurance
- health, safety and wellbeing
- business continuity and resilience
- integrity and investigations
- monitoring law and regulation compliance
- projects, work programmes and procurement
- long-term plan, annual report, annual plan and other external financial reports.
