What a custom resource consent report can contain 

A custom resource consent report is written to your specification and can include any resource consent information you choose. For example, it could include all consents related to:

• one or more addresses in a specified area
• a specified time period
• a status (granted or lodged)
• bores and/or water takes For the purpose of section 14 of the Resource Management Act 1991, 'water take' means taking or removing fresh water or coastal water from its source. It also includes removing heat or energy from water. in a targeted search area
• subdivision and resource consents for a site that have been lodged or granted in the last 10 years.

Cost of a custom resource consent report 

The cost of the report is calculated on a time and materials basis.

Normal customer reports usually take roughly an hour to prepare.

If we anticipate a report will take longer than two hours, we may prepare a quote and ask you for confirmation to proceed with your request.

All reports are supplied electronically via email.

We can also produce reports of consents issued in a weekly, monthly and annual time period.

Order a land-use, water or discharge regional consent report

You can order a list of regional consents that have been granted near a specific address for the following activities:

• Land use:     
  •  drilling or altering a bore
• Water: 
  • water take
• Discharge type:
  • air
  • contaminated site
  • industrial or trade activity
  • landfill (managed landfill, cleanfill A landfill for natural materials like clay, gravel, rock and soil from areas that are not contaminated with chemicals. This can include small amounts of construction material. , municipal landfill A landfill that accepts household waste. )
  • other discharge (for contaminants not listed)
  • stormwater
  • wastewater.

You must provide:

• a property address or map coordinates in WGS84 format (latitude and longitude)
• the area you want to check for granted consents, under 8km square.

We will charge you:

• for each hour at the hourly administration rate
• for a minimum of one hour.
