The programme is for individuals, iwi or Māori groups, community groups, trusts and other organisations that contribute to the protection and improvement of regionally significant historic heritage places, sites or areas.
Projects must involve at least one of the following:
Our heritage staff members will assess your application.
We will make recommendations to the General Manager, Planning and Resource Consents, who has delegated authority to make final funding decisions.
We will contact you by email to let you know the result of your application.
If your application is successful, we will send you a funding agreement with the terms and conditions of the grant.
You will have 12 months to complete your project and fulfil grant accountability requirements.
