A great park with lots of open flat space for ball games, and a good network of wide paths for walking and jogging.

The shaded playground, flying fox, learn to ride track, skate park, sports field and basketball half-court provide something for everyone. A public toilet and drinking fountains are by the car park and skate park.

Pedestrians can also access the park from Hallam Street, Hendon Avenue and Underwood Park. Buses stop on Owairaka Avenue.

Cross the bridge at the southern end of the path to follow the Te Auaunga - Wesley Path in either direction. If you are a bit more adventurous, head further north and take in Ōwairaka / Te Ahi-kā-a-Rakataura / Mount Albert.
