Takaranga Reserve is a small neighbourhood park that can be accessed from Staley Road or its neighbour Armour Bay Reserve. The park has a play space designed with natural materials and to provide experiences for children of various ages.
Walk two minutes south via a bush trail to find Armour Bay Reserve, which has popular hard courts, toilets and changing rooms, picnic and barbecue spaces and beach access
Takaranga Reserve does not have any formed paths or accessible features, though the play space does have ramps. Parking is restricted to the street as there are no dedicated carparking spaces available within the park.
The walking track to Armour Bay Reserve is unsealed and includes stairs.
